Default how to convert a pic into a different format

i just finished editing a picture on adobe photoshop 7.0 but the picture always gets opened by adobe photoshop, and when i try to open it with windows picture viewer thing, it cannot be displayed.... can someont tell him how to change it back to a gif or jpeg?

When you save it go go the bottom and change the file type to jpeg...

nvm problem solved, i remembered in computer class that u have to save it as a gif or jpeg

Imagicon is great! You can convert annoying BMP's that are saved that big from games to jpg.

I heard of this program called IrFanView, it lets you edit pictures and I believe it lets you resize the images. You might want to try that for added manuverability, even tho you have photoshop.

Go to File<Save for Web<and jpeg or gif... then your good to go
