Default How come Windows Media Center STOPS??!?!?

When I am setting up the tv, it tells me .

Windows Media Center is now downloading the most up to date tv setup option in your region.

Now when I do that it tells me that the Update Manager needed to close.

So What am I doing wrong?
Am I setting it up?

Someone please go step by step in this process.

Ok, but that still leaves out the answer to part two of the question, do you have all windows updates?

click the windows menu>all programs>Windows Update. Along the left side is a "check for updates" link. Just click that, and if there are any updates, install them.
