Default How to check USB.

Right, how do I check which type of USB my mobo has?

As in like USN 1.0 or USB 2.0. I just bought one of those hard drive enclosures which is used with usb 2.0. And i want to know if i have, it because if i dont it can damage it cant it?

no it won't damage it, usb 2.0 devices are backwards compatible. I'm not really sure how to tell which it is you have, I would look in your documentation for the pc or the motherboard.

check your book that came with your mobo.... you'll see a speed difference, at worst case just go to the mobo website and look for drivers for usb 2.0
