Default how to check compatibility?!

Hey guys,

I was just wondering how do you check which motherboards are compatible with which CPU etc?

Well Intel need Intel motherboards as Do AMD need AMD Motherboards, This filters out alot.
Then you need to look for the Socket the CPU needs, and see what Socket the CPU is.

The correct verbage would be:

"Well Intel need Intel, and AMD need AMD"

You cannot use AMD chips on an Intel motherboard, at least not for the past decade.

A quick search in Google with your motherboard model should do the trick fairly easily. If you are still having a hard time, just put the model number of you motherboard or computer here and I'm sure we can help you out.
