Is it possible, to put a lock on some folders so that when people try to access them on my computer it will ask them for a password???

i think so but im not sure how to do it.............probly somthing in preferences or like contol panel. Look around in control panel and see if any thing says like security or something.

Right click.Go to sharing and security. Make private. IT doesnt do that for a specific flie. It does it for like a whole drive or folder.

Yes but even then some folders are accessible by other users. I don't know, just try limiting your accounts, and move every important file to a secure folder, and then make that folder Hidden. That way you're the only Admin on that PC and then they can't go to Folder Options and select View HIdden Files and Folders. It's quite convient!
