How accurate is this analogy?

Even for workstation purposes like Photoshop and the such? Not for video and 3D... quadro fx is best for that.

And which is cheaper and more powerful, 7800 or 1900xtx?
 
I forgot about those uncommon Quadro's. Not use to them. I think the X1900XTX is a hot video card to get. I like the 7800GTX too, but I have a feeling that ATi version is better. They're video cards are loaded with RAM and high clocks. Their pixel shading count is high too. They definitely cost a little bit more than the 7800GTX on average.
 
Wait until more video card gurus come on here and don't take my work for it, lol. I'm an nvidia fan who happens to like that particular ATi chipset. All I know is that both those video card chipsets are high end and will get the job done.
 
Perhaps I should make a new thread? We've kind of gotten off the topic of SLI now.
 
Ouch... something definitely to post in my thread, but I want to see a second article that proves this.
