How about we test our computers agenst each other.
Any ideas to what benchmark(s) we should use?
I suggest cinebench for CPU and RAM
And 3dmark06 for the gaming. I know 3dmark06 is 8 years old now, but it's free and faster to download and use than some other i know.

Here is a download link to the Valley Benchmark for those who want to join in.
Download Unigine 'Valley' Benchmark 1.0 | techPowerUp
Use Extreme HD preset. The real benchmark does not begin before you hit the "benchmark button" took me a little time to figure out... to my defence, it looked like it took the benchmark, but it was apparently just looping it, without keeping score.

And here is a link for Cinebench 10R.
I chose 10R instead of 11 because it's faster and it still holds up.
download from Guru3D.com

Here is the my CPU/RAM score using cenebench 10R 64-Bit: scored: 33752

I used the Extreme HD preset. This benchmark is the most beautiful benchmark i have ever seen. It deserves to by run at that setting. There is only 3 presets to choose from basic, extreme and extreme HD.

If I remember exactly, there was a stand alone free benchmark for it. Or was it Crysis 2 ?!?!?

I'll try to get some links when I get back home.

I can try some CPU benchmarks, however I haven't purchased a GPU yet. So I'll have to wait a bit to post those.

EDIT- It wouldn't let me download Cinebench 10R, so I just went and got the most recent version.
