Hot Swap Options

Hey guys,

I've begun to do more and more data recovery for people. I was wondering what the best technique is for swapping drives and plugging drives in.

Currently I have external enclosures for each style of drive. These are nice for portability but if I'm at my workstation I'd like to have a good hot swap setup.

What do you recommend?

Also, what is the best software? Here at work we use Easeus but I've found some freeware like Recuva by Piriform that I like. What else is out there?

I've attempted searching but all I got was a bunch of social topics.

Thanks in advance!

My favorite software R-Studio. Restorer2000 is good too but I've had better success with R-Studio.

As for hot-swapping, if your computer has an eSATA port that would work great with a HDD-dock. I got one off of newegg a while back that hooked up to eSATA and worked with both 2.5" and standard hard drives. The nice part is eSATA is full speed so you're not limited to the USB speeds.
