Default Hook up between Asus Monitor and Omen HP

I'm trying to figure out which connections to use. I have a VGA on the monitor, that doesn't seem to be the problem. I don't know where to hook uup on the Omen 880-130 Tower. I tried connecting to a HDMI Port on the tower. I also tried the settings on the monitor. There is a display port that I haven't tried because I don't have that.

This is a high end tower. It's not going to have a VGA port.

You might be able to get a display port to vga adapter...

I know there's a DVI to VGA adapter. I have one.
