im using this compound but I don't have anymore so i bought some random bestbuy stuff,
but the bestbuy stuff is still packed up I haven't used it yet

i had task manager open it said like between 0-4% cpu usuage its like 49 deg Celcius

How much compound did you put, and did you wipe the pre-installed compound off the heatsink?

It should be no larger than a grain of rice.

I took the old stuff off

i only put a little of the new stuff on maybe my fans arent blowing the right way? idk

my cpu cooler? how do I do that? lol maybe i should get a fan controller

Use speedfan and tell it 100% if you want to do that.

Remove the cpu cooler, clean it and the cpu well, put new TIM, and reinstall, then run prime95 for a while to burn in.

i can set my cpu fan speed to 100%? sorry for all teh questions if u want to take a break go ahead lol sorry

I have all fans on 100% according to speed fan

The CPU fan is at 100%?

It could be because of the excessive heat. I'd go ahead and reseat it, being sure to not use too much TIM.

i dont think it is but i set all speeds on speed fan to 100% and i dont think i noticed fans increasing idk if it changed anything

ill post a ss and ill reseat it n stuff
