Default Hmm cant figure this out???

K whenever i power on the pc the monitor comes sometimes after i play with it for awhile then powers off when i get to the windows starting up thing?? the comp stays on but the monitor shuts off and acts as if i dont have it plugged in??

What monitor? Did you check that it is properly plugged in? Also, look at the back of your monitor. The AC line might not be properly attached. Unplug and plug it in again.

I don't think that the computer is the problem, so do you have another monitor to check just in case?

Also, the little lightbulb in front of the monitor, is that lit up when it "powers off"?

WEll, he can't really do that seeing as he only gets to the Windows boot screen.

That's wierd. I had the same problem a few days ago on my P3 rig. Turns out the monitor was a flake.
Try this first though. Boot to safe move and uninstall the vid drivers. Boot back to normal and reinstall the drivers.
