Default High Pitched noise?

I have this very quiet, but high pitched noise that is coming from what seems to be my motherboard.

I was wondering if this could be due to the processes that it is making, or maybe a faulty fan that I have?

I have no problem with the sounds that my fans make, but the high pitched noise is a little annoying.

Could it be one of my fans amplifying a noise that my motherboard makes?

I understand what you mean. I hear that a lot with phone chargers. I don't think it is anything bad with your motherboard. I think most electronics make that noise, if I'm not mistaken.

Check the power going to your video card. When I first put in my 8800gtx it needed both power ports, switching them around or putting them in the wrong one makes a high pitched sound.
