Dell has got to be the worst brand in my oppinion, i would rather go without than go with them

ohh yeah my lappy came with an extended 12cell battery...little heavier but just doing basic word processing or excel or soemthign on it makes it last over 4 hours.

In my opinion, I've never seen a good HP laptop. They all have the same hard drive problems! By all I mean the 6 people I know with HP laptops. This is coming from their experience and me having to listen to them complain about it. They were all scrap parts within a year. With that being said, I will never buy an HP laptop.

Personally, my favorites are HP, Acer, and Asus. Stay away from dell and gateway at all costs.

The power of a graphics card shouldn't really be rated by the amount of memory it has. You can have shared graphics with 1GB of shared memory - and it can still be crap!
