I must admit those specifications aren't bad for dell. For once the graphics card isn't a piece of crap, like what they usually do.

But go with AMD 64 Socket 939 (Venice core). You will be happy in the future.

So I went to that site and customized the Trillion Fx...comes out to like $1760 after taxes which is like $200-$300 less than the XPS.

That's all an excellent choice. Except I would not get the Foxconn, and would rather recommend one by Asus (Nforce4). Foxconn is not a great manufacturer and typically intended for total budget machines. I see you don't want budget.

Nonetheless, that seems a bit expensive. Try this site instead:

That's definitely a nice price tag and definitely what I would recommend.

That's a pretty good price considering the specs you posted. My PC came close to that price and look what I ended up with compared to what you want.

I would strongly recommend the $1400 one. the Trillion FX seems to be totally overpriced.
