Here's what you should get...
  • Motherboard: ASUS ATI CrossFire 3200
  • Processor: Intel Pentium D 920 Presler
  • Video Card: X1800GTO
  • RAM: Anything DDR2, just get 2GB of it.
  • Hard Drive: 150GB Western Digital Raptor-X
  • 600W PSU
  • NEC 3500 DVD Burner
  • Case: Raidmax Sagitta

That should do you good for now. The reason I suggest the Intel board is because in 3 months Conroe comes out, and that is faster then an FX-60. So, plan for the future!

Current 975x chipsets and Xfire chipsets dont support Conroe. Conroe needs a whole new VRM and PWM system or else it wont run. Currently, it will only run on 965 motherboards. For conroe, you will need either a 965 or 985 motherboard. Or mod your 975x motherboard.

Its using the same socket LGA775. But the current 975x motherboards need to be modded to be able to use a Conroe.

I wouldnt go with the crossfire motherboard. Isn't Ati's version of sli, the Crossfire, kinda crappy compared to Nvidia's Sli. I like this motherboard if your going Amd. It supports the 939 socket, and the FX and X2 chips. It's a lil pricey, but it has dual pci express slots so you go sli-ing lol.

Heres the link for that..

If you're going for an Intel solution for the 775 socket so you can upgrade to the Conroe, heres your best bet. It also has dual pci express slots and offers support up to 4 gb of ddr2 ram. Now thats fast!! Lol.

Anyways heres the link for that.. Hope it helps.
