I'm a bit confused on how to convert hex to decimal.
I get how to convert hex to binary then to decimal, but our teacher isn't letting us do that, so then we know how to just go straight from hex to decimal.
Like, how would you convert E7-63-1C into Decimal, without going to binary, I'm confused on the mathematics of it.
I broke it into dif. segments (E7-63-1C) so it was a little bit easier.
I know what it is now, because I converted to binary then to Decimal, but I want to know how to go STRAIGHT HEX TO DEC..
Please help!
