Hewlett Packard Deskjet Help?

Hey everyone.
Im having problems getting this printer installed. So it is a Hewlett Packard Deskjet 812C. It does not come with this computer, and i went into word to try to install it that way i clicked print and click Find printer. it says "Find in directory(top bar) Directory Service is currently Unavailable" Can anyone help me out istalling this printer? or is it internal problem that is occuring. Thanks for your time and help.

Have u installed any drivers for the printer?
I'm not 100% sure if they need any but I think they do.
Try to find the drivers for it from google or www.hp.com

no hp sux on drivers downloads. wait i think they do

Did your printer come with a CD , if it did then then just install that cuz it comes withthe drivers and such , but if it didnt then i guess u could look at there site or around the net

it didnt come with a cd my aunt gave mt eh printer but lost the cd..?
