Very very nice comp. I like the vid card and the cpu. Great combo. Although I would get 2gb because BF2 runs so much better, 1g is plenty. Nice heatsink too... I would get an sli mobo though... you'll live to thank yourself if you get sli. Trust me. on that one rainy day when 7800gtx's are half price, you'll want to get one. It's all up to you though. Good comp though... pwns mine...

Everything looks really good. It is defintely nice the way it is. But.....I know Corsair XMS are good RAM, but have you considered Mushkin Redline or the Geil ONE series of ultra low latency RAMs? They are extremely well for overclocking. If you plan on OCing.

Or ocz or kingston. Any one of those companies is great. Along with crucial's ballistix... nuts memory... I'd get ocz anyday though...

yeah i definitely plan on overclocking. how fast do you think i could get that processor up to?

I would say 2.4GHz at the most for stability under stock cooling (although better heatsink/fan combo would be recommended if you go to 2.4GHz or higher).

Corsair XMS and Asus don't like each other. I remember when my brothers friend got corsair xms and then had to call up asus and say "hey corsair xms doesnt work with this board" then they tested it and came back a minute later and said "oh shit we have to change the website" and then they said sorry, and he had to get dif ram.

You, sir, are about to buy a beast of a computer.

Although I do agree with jac006 that you will probably want 2GB RAM for BF2, but I can play it happily on 1GB.
