Here's an easy one

I have a laptop in my home and I am using wifi. But every time I boot up my laptop it connects me to a neighbors connection and not mine. So every time I turn the computer on I have to click on the little pc icon at the bottom of the screen and then click connect or dissconnect then I have to click on my signal and then connect. It's not really that hard to do, it's just starting to be a pain in the rear. Is there a way where I can make it connect to my network and no one elses. You would think it would search for the strongest signal. My neighbors is one bar when mine is four. Thanks

What software are you using for connecting?

XP/Vista will ask before connecting, so disable any sort of 3rd party software, and use that instead.

Then delete the neighbors wifi from the list of networks, and it will automatically connect to yours.
