Helpp!!!!

I just reformated my computer and now i don't have access to internet (i'm on my sis' comp). I plugged the ethernet cable directly to the motherboard, I'm Not sure what mother board it is but i bought it from best buy.
These are all teh information that i know.

Model Number: Compaq SR2038NX
Serial Number: MXX6390KPO
My ethernet cable is connnected to a router

And i believe it is

Compaq Presario 2GHz AMD Dual Core Desktop PC

And I'm using Bell Sympatico.

I could not find any drivers for Vista on the support website. I'm under time crunch right now so I'll come back later.
