I think maybe this one MSI 760GM-P23 (FX) AMD Socket AM3+ Motherboard and AMD Athlon II X4 640 Quad Core Processor and Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus CPU Cooler and Corsair CMX4GX3M1A1333C9 XMS3 4GB DDR3 RAM and Corsa Bundle at TigerDirect.com it say final price is $199.99 so it seems like it would be a good deal, what do you guys think?

It's a good starting point. You can upgrade the CPU and video card and have yourself a very capable machine.

+1^

Yup, can't get any cheaper than that, but like OhSnappy says, you'll be wanting a much better graphics card if you expect to play any serious games.

Don't forget the OS!

Click on the link, and just scroll down a little, and you'll see a list of exactly what comes in the kit. No monitor, and many don't come with a mouse or keyboard either. Only what is listed.

Any where from $89.00, to $1,200.00 literally. It all depends on size and quality.

You can buy a quality name brand TN 19" monitor for around $89.00, or an IPS 27" monitor for $800.00 or more.

Most folks today use a monitor that is around 24" in size, TN technology, and a quality name brand like Samsung, runs around $200.00 +/-.

You should go to a local store, and see what size and price works for you.

You mean as opposed to buying a kit? If that's what you're saying, the answer is no, a kit will be much less.
