ok, i was trying to reinstall drivers for my newer xfx 6800, and on the cd it said that the drivers were older than the ones already on my system. I wanted to go back to where i started from cause bf2 wasn't working, so i reinstalled the old drivers. then a nvidia screen pops up, asking me if the settings were correct, it went to a screen w/ my background on it, i thought that was fine, then press ok. my mistake. now, everytime i turn on my pc it just comes to my background, i can hear all the usual sounds like the windows sound and that stuff, but all i can see is my background. i can go on the internet and stuff on safe mode, but how do i go back to my original settings? i dont have coolbits or anythin like that either.

That's almost what happened to me when I fuxed up my explorer.exe
