Help! webcam crashing msn

HI, i installed the software from the internet for the eyetoy webcam/ps2 game cam and it says it is all working fine. I go to send webcam or someone clicks on theres asking me to send webcam and when i press accept msn crashes. I need help fast. Thankx!

Are you running your itoy program while they send the webcam request?

no

i does not have any software i click on VIDCAP32 and that crashes too!

Ok...

I have to assume it's usb. So uninstall the software for the webcam and just install the usb drivers for it. My Logitech is the same way. If I load all the junk that comes with it, it's difficult to get it to work with any program. But when I just install the usb drivers it works like a charm.
Try that and make sure your motherboard drivers are current.

Edit: I see you stated it doesn't have any software. Did you get the drivers for it? Xp has a good library of drivers but doesn't have all of them.

i got it off a site i went off which lets me download the drivers so i did and i just crashes msn and i know it is installed because my friends can see that i have a webcam on msn
