Help with vista!

wow vista has been running well on my computer except for sleep mode which has major problems but i have disabled automatic sleep mode for the time being. but i'm wondering if it is possible to change the power button in the start menu

to shut down instead of sleep which mine is set as, because it has become rather annoying having to select shut down from the little drop-down menu to the right of the power button.

that also really bugged me heres what i did

click start,

type power options and hit enter

click change plan settings

click on change advanced settings

click on the + next to Power buttons and lid

click on the + next to Start menu power button

click on the little drop down menu and choose either Sleep, Hibernate, or Shut down.

Make sure you turn off the automatic restore points, they can really eat away at your hard drive. I had 15+ gb of restore points on my computer until I figured out what was causing them.

^^What did that have to do with anything? At any rate auto restore is a good thing if something goes wrong, why not just change how much space is set aside?

I didn't know you could do that. Having to click that little arrow is annoying. That is good to know.
