Exclamation HELP! TuneUp Utilities 2007 error message!

I have TuneUp Utilities 2007 and when I open the "1-Click" maintenance an error message come's up saying: External exception C000001D. I would click the ok button but then the same message comes up and then they double sometimes. With those messages in the way I cant use the maintenace.

Same thing happens for, Disk Space Explorer, System Optimizer, Registry Defrag and some others


PS: I have already tried reinstalling it

PLZ HELP!

personally i don't like the sound of those programs. have you tried teh utilities built into windows?

are they free-ware programs? if so, then they are probally the problem causers themselves. anyone else here will tell you that free registry cleaners and the like cause problems 99.9% of the time.

[edit] mis-read your post. if the windows ones work just use them. don't go downloading programs for the reason i stated above.
