As everyone knows when you install software such as a game, photoshop, ect. it takes up memory. When you unistall the software there is still a bunch of crap left behind. Many have the options of remove all and yet they don't remove all.

I have a three year old computer and multiple softwares have come and gone. Recently I found out that there are files from an old antisoftware from 2 years back that is still in my comp.

I don't want to reformat my comp.

Anybody have any software or freeware that can detect and remove all the junk left behind by such softwares.

Much thanks

just go into C:\Program Files\ and delete the left over files...

like say u installed Nero... then uninstalled it.. go and delete the C:\Program Files\ Nero folder

That is not always possible as some software install into shared folders so when you go to remove it it gives you a box warning of the dangers of removing a shared file in these cases its best to select leave alone and forget about it.
