Default Help with screen size

The other day I got my new pc the os is vista/64 and the screen was fine then i played a couple games and when I got out of them my desktop screen got smaller and I cant change it back to take up the full screen now. Its not a huge problem but it's rather annoying. Also my monitor is a 32" hooked up to hdmi if that helps.

Im not familiar with games so I can be totally wrong here. But I use my TV as a dual PC/TV monitor and when it wouldnt go large screen for the PC it was because of the VGA/Graphics settings.
