Help with reformating my computer!!

Hi, I am in the process of reformating my computer right now and I have ran in to some trouble. I was asked to put in the CD "Window XP Professional SP 2" and clicked OK

After wards a new pop up appeared called "File Needed" - the file 'asms' is needed from "Window XP Professional SP 2". Choose a path and click Ok the Proceed.

The window it self gave me a path but when i click OK it doesn't disappear, which means the file 'asms' was not retrieved. I don't see another path that is usable aside from the one given and another "A:" that doesnt work neither.

Can any one help me with this problem. Help is appreciated.

Well if you're formatting your drive, put the CD in and reboot your computer. This time boot from the CD. You may have to go into the bios (F2, F8, F12.. something) and set the boot sequence as your CD drive first, should already be set that way.

If it still happens I have no idea what you did to your CD
