Help Please! New Dell :(

Hi, i just bought a dell inspiron 1150 laptop used of ebay.
I decided that because there was a ton of junk on it, i'd go ahead and use the dell operating system cd, and re-install it.

So once i did that i got onto the computer. It is in the lowest possible scren res. and i can't connect to the internet..

I think this is because the drivers aren't installed.
When i looked in the device manager it says they aren't installed.

These drivers are ethernet controllers, things of that nature, and display drivers.. ( i'm thinkin thats why i can't change my display, nor connect to the internet ?)

Any idea how i could install them
?

btw i do have a computer next to the laptop that is on the net, could i maybe connect the two and transfer the drivers over?

Just download the drivers from Dell. You can burn them to CD and install them on the laptop from the CD.

Yeah you can find most current drivers online, just find out what kind of graphics card you have for the display drivers and what kind of ethernet card for the drivers to use the internet. Then put those on a cd to transfer them to your notebook comp.

found that dell hid them deep in c: i found them and used the manual route.. ended up all working out
