Help Please!

I am looking for a new laptop cooling pad and have read some reviews but still do not know which one to get. I currently have a cheapo unit that does not work well as it draws air down and fights the cooling fan on my computer.

Can somoeone suggest a decent cooling pad for approx $30 or less? Thanks in advance ladies and gents!

You can a long list of cooling pads for under $30 that could end up being just another cheapo pad. One looked over lately is the NZXT black aluminum cooler seen at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834997340

What size is the laptop? That will be one thing to look at to what any cooler will handle. While that was a bit over what you were looking to spend it will cool models with upto 19" screens.

There is a Swiss one in Wal Mart. It's working wonders for my friend. You can even extend the sides out as wings.

It still mainly depends on the size of the laptop as well as how good the manufacturer is for the brand you buy. For larger models you may have to pay a little more to get something like the three 120mm fans inside the NZXT cooler seen at the first link.
