Angry help...please

Hey, i tried installing drivers for my Lexmark X75 printer (yea i know it sucks pisses me off ) well i got the drivers off the website because i lost the cd and every time i launch the drivers this pops up



What does it mean? What should I do?

If you are running WinXP, which I would guess you are, I would suggest retrying the installation of the drivers, but in this way:

r-click on the .exe file that runs the driver setup - properties
go to compatability tab, and run in compatability mode for Win98

If that doesn't fix it, try installing it in safe mode (sometimes it works)

Or you could just try emailing lexmark

Thanx, however this did not help. I emailed Lexmark for the second time and their support did not solve the problem either.

put in google the name of that file name it puts up, but with " each side so it searches for the exact phrase. I think you may be able to download a patch for it or get simple fixing instructions because i've had similar ones before.

I fixed IT!I had to paste the AUTOEXEC.NT file into my System 32, because Windows Service Pack 2 tends to delete it and that is why 16-bit apllications will not work.

But now it says I have no valid INF files in my system. I'm starting to get worried.

HAAA, I FIXED IT AGAIN! just had to uncheck the compability box. Thanx to all for helping out.
