The case codegen 4u 500mm deep says is supports E-ATX Boards (not full size)

Why are you getting that case? Seems that for £80 you can get much better stuff, or at least more popular stuff. Popular stuff is usually the way to go, because it may not be the best, but there is always more support and material available if something bad happens.
I'm finally going to buy a rack and put my network equipment switch, patch pannel, pdu , nas and server ect into it
I was planning on swapping the old hardware into this case but it's just not worth the hastle when it needs an upgrade
The case I have picked is just a cheap short dept case as I can only fit a small depth rack into the closet where my network equipment is currently stored
If it was sitting in view I would use a standard case I know there are loads of better choices in the desktop format
I plan on removing the 3x5.25 inch bays and replacing with icy dock enclosure

Why do you say the current case needs an upgrade? If it can fit everything, you could invest those £80 in something else, like more RAM, a better processor, maybe an SSD.
And also, we seem to have forgotten, but do you have a graphics card? Because the Ryzen processors don't have integrated graphics.

It's a standard desktop (old shop brought ACER aspire m3201) it won't go inside a rack too easy.
I normally have too pull all cables and pull it out of the closet unscrew cpu fan and mess around with cables just to change a HDD would help having hotswap drive cages
It's also taking up precious space inside the closet I have vertical space not width and depth I can only fit in a 600mm deep rack
Like I said earlyer the old system is being donated to a family freind whos stuck with an old xp system that can't even play 1080p video files and he can't afford to upgrade,
I am slightly better off than my freind and could do with the extra processing power and better power efficiency and also the space by racking the equipment
I could maby charge my freind a slight price too offset a slight cost but was hoping to donate to him

Ok I'm going to share some information that could help you make a final desicion:
There seems to be a pretty nice leap between the 4-core and the 6-core Ryzen procesors. You should think carefully how much processing power you need and how much you are willing to spend.
Take a good look at the tests. Also note that Ryzen processors scale quite well with high frequency memory, so I selected a couple 3000MHz for this last build:
