But to answer your question that is a DDR3 board and you selected DDR2 Ram. That ram wont fit in the board

No, they are designed differently. They won't even fit in the same modules.

That RAM is overkill. DDR3 1333Mhz should be more than enough for you. You won't need 1600Mhz unless you're overclocking. You won't even need DDR3 RAM, haha. Choose another motherboard.

CPU: http://www.gamedude.com.au/prod_show...t_no=cpCDq8200

Motherboard: http://www.gamedude.com.au/prod_show...o=mbMSp45neo_f

RAM: PNY Twin Pack 2x2 gig (4gig Total) DDR2 800Mhz (PC2-6400) Heatspreader

Item Code memPNtw_d2_4_800

Power Supply: GIGABYTE Superb 550watt ATX Power Supply Model: GE-P450N-C2

Item Code psGIsuperb_550

What size monitor do you play on? What case are you using? Do you need a hard drive?

got a 19" widescreen. some el cheapo case but i got another thermaltake shark case.. got heaps of hdd's

also i got 4 gig of xms ddr2 ram but the other mobo was ddr3 so then i changed the ram... but i guess i can get another 4 gig of xms2 if im gonna get a ddr2 board... thought that p5n was a ddr3 but found out it was a ddr2 board..

also i was gonna get a bigger psu coz i needed more pwr to run the gfx card fully...

coz i have a 550w super flower and it didnt run my other 9800gtx+ dark knight so i sold the card to a mate...
