Help ! My other computer keeps shuting off

My other computer keeps shutting off as soon as it is booted up.
what can fix it ? not enough memory or a Virus ?

how fast? like when windows is loading or like 2 seconds after you turn it on??

maybe take out one stick of RAM, if it doesnt work then try the other stick. if it works return the RAM. or you could do an actually memtest. it could also be your PSU, check to make sure everything is seated correctly and make sure the cables are connected in the right places.

Within 5 seconds after it boots.
i used the disks it came with which wipes everything out and reinstalls windows xp . now it what it does is boots up on its on and then shuts down on its own at random times. i think a part is bad on the inside, not a virus or anything

Your still not being clear mate. Do you mean that it loads the OS then shuts down at the startup screen or do you mean that you turn it on and it turns off 5 seconds later, or something else?
