Default Help with my Ext. Hard Drive?

So I started deleting stuff of my external HDD. I had 9GB left, and after deleting close to 30GB, I had 9GB left.
I checked the recycle bin manually as well as trying disk cleanup, nothing comes up.
Anyone help out?
All help appreciated.

That's odd. unplug the External harddrive and plug it back in again.

If you want to remove more stuff a good program to analyze harddrives is folder size.
Folder Size - Free download and software reviews - CNET Download.com
That program can help you visually find the stuff that takes up space.

Move everything that you want to keep, and format the thing. Thats one of the first things that I would try.
