Default Help With A MP3 Player/Renaming Songs

I recently purchased a Creative Zen Vision M MP3 player. It's a great product, but there is one flaw, a lot of songs are not recognized by it. That means that it does not know who the artist or the album its on is from. This gets annoying because the only way to find these songs is to go through the "All Tracks" section and search through "Unknown" songs until you find what you are looking for, instead of the "Artist" or "Album" section.

Windows Media Player allows you to edit this, however, when I tried to sync with it, I received all kinds of errors. It put tons of songs on my mp3 player that I have never heard of or listened to in my life. It also created multiple copies of just about every song, and you have to go through the Creative program folder by folder to delete them.

Is there any other program out there that allows you edit the artist, not title, of a song from your computer?

- Find the file in Windows Explorer.

- Right-click it and choose Properties.

- Go to the Summary tab.

- Click the Advanced button.

You can edit it all in there. If you want a more user-friendly/faster option, I would go with iTunes.

I use ID3-Tagit 3. It works really well.
