Hey,

I'm in the process of building a new custom pc and just would like some advice on the motherboard. It is between two at the moment. They are fairly close in price and just want to know which one is better overall - performance wise and also how long they last (if anyone has one) :D

It's between:

ASUS P7H55D-M

and

ASUS P7P55D-E

I've ruled out a Gigabyte board (which is what i was going to get originally) as I have found out that they have a high chance of their capacitors dying quickly).

Thanx all:D

:D

get the P6X58D-E board i have it it is a good one. Easy to overclock stuff.

That's an X58 board fine for the socket 1366 CPU's. The OP is choosing between a P55 and H55 board which means he's using a socket 1156 CPU's, i3/i5/i7, which ain't compatible with 1366 pin i7's.

Personally i'm with the P55 boards when it comes to the 1156 pin CPU's.
