Help me pick out my used Dell!

I am new to this forum so hello! I need some help picking out a used dell pc off ebay, I have $300 to spend.I have a liteon dvd burner and a ati radeon 9200 video card to use on my new pc. Here is what I am looking at:

dude i would go with the first one, mainly as u get an extra 100mhzs cpu power! lol not much but its a consideration, also with the firist one you get a dvd-rom drive that comes with it to. The second one would not be my first choice as it only has 17 gig space on it which isnt alot! dont fall into the same trap as me when i thought my 30gig hd would be ok and it really isnt :< hope you decide soon!

Ya the first one was my pick because of the faster cpu and I really do need the 40 gig hd. I think I am going with that one I just need some more input on dell precision's, And why are they called "workstation's"?
