Default Help me find some monitors

Hey all, my birthday is coming up soon. I decided I want a really like either 22' or 24' inch monitor. Anyone find any good deals on them on Newegg these days? If you do, leave a link below!

If you don't mind me asking what is your price range?
NEC http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824002356

Acer http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824009145

I personally like Acer over NEC

The Acer that was recommended before.

I personally believe this ASUS is the absolute best deal you can find for your price range.

I think I'm able to get the Acer, talked it over with pops. I just told him it was #1 award winning customer choice!

If I were getting a monitor now, I would look for one capable of producing 1920x1080 as the native res, if going for a 22-24 inch.
You'd need a better video card to play games, but when the time came to play true full HD content, you would not have trouble doing so.
16:10 monitors are annoying in my experience, and a 16:9 monitor is much prefered, even though full HD 16:9 monitors would probably come with a premium at the moment.

Then all you gotta do is address the GPU issue.

This would be fine for me and my 2D DAW's.

*Thinks he's in the market for a monitor*
