Help me decide WHAT one?

I have been interested in upgrading from a 3200+

Give your reason which of the following would be the best.
and Why.

What would you get?
(for gaming/multitasking/video edit/compression-extraction/burning/transferring data)

I have no experience with any of those as I still remain with my 3500+ but with no doubt in mind i say go dual core at this point. Dual core will outlive the FX-55 in usefulness. Now of the two dual core processors, i would take the 4400+ @ 2.2GHz because it can easily be overclocked the same as the 4600+ and it has 2x1MB of L2 cache. Looks better to me anyway.

I currently have a 4600+ in my gateway and have had it now for a little over a month and love it...though i was upgradeing from a P4 so...anyway no complaints from me...
