Default HELP! losing gigs fast

My space on my computer is steadily dropping
I use AVG, Windows defender, NortonIS (not a big fan) and a program called Spyware terminator

I scan frequently and I'm always clean, It's a relatively new computer, I've actually been cleaning out programs so the space going down is scaring me...

what do i check for?

ALSO: my RAM is off the charts alot, I had to close alot of startup programs and run on classic windows view just so i could see my start button...

it's more than likely that stupid auto backup crap in Vista. I forget what it's called, you'll need to disable it.

your using vista,so odds are it's just system restore. You can go in through the disk-cleanup wizard and delete all but the most recent backup. You'd be amazed at how much space that'll free up.

There are only 10 kinds of people in this world. Those who can read binary, and those who can't.

Lol it is, but I have yet to see Vista's limit on how much you put in it. XP wouldn't allow folder bigger than four gigs in.... I've put in a 16-gig folder (backup user account data)....
