help with installing monitor drivers.

k, so i got a new BenQ T905 today.

and i put in the driver cd, there are two options, manual and this other thing, like some utitiliy thing, that like tests ur screen for dead pixels or something.

so i go into the manual, and well, here it is.

and so i follwed the directions to upgrade ur comp to a new monitor...

and then it says go into display propterties and like go to plug and play monitor, then go to driver, if it isn't the benq driver, that isnt good. so it says do this thing where u search for the driver, and i do it, and yet, it doesnt find the driver. i hit update driver. adn then i do the little thing and then it searches, and then cant find a driver.

what can i do?

did you specipy the cd for windows to look for the drivers?
does the monitor work?
did you try downloading drivers, and trying those?

monitor does work, and yes i did, i routed on one try directly to the folder named dirvers..

well if it works, why are you so worried? as long as you still have the features aviable that you want you shoul be fine. The actual drive willn't make much of a difference.
