Welcome to CF

Well try uninstalling it and install it again on your friend's computer.
Sounds like there may be a file missing that is causing the program
to not function properly or at all.

Try this first and see what happens

Try this program and run it in safe mode, it's very good at finding problems and fixing them, it even catches errors you didn't know you had. and it's free.

well if the cpu doesn't have sse I don't think there is anything u can do exept get a new cpu. And anyway it seems like he could use an upgrade, since sse was introduced with the Pentium 3 cpus (I think) so the cpu must be a Pentium 2 or older. I think amd has been using sse since their amd XP cpus.

It looks like an Athlon CPU I'm guessing - in which case it won't have SSE, so he won't be able to run the Guitar program.

Try reinstalling Sony Acid 6.0
