Help on Cd-rom games

Hi.

I have a windows XP and:

AMD Athlong 64 Processor 3400+
1GB PC3200 Memory
200GB 7200RPM Hard Drive

Now when I want to play some cd-rom games, such as Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds and WarGames, In game I do not hear background music. If I go play this in another computer or an older outdated one, the music will play.

I need some help please. Thanks a bunch.
