Default HELP: Can't get rid of annoying "trojan"

That's what I see whenever I use Internet Explorer or open folders on my desktop. When I use firefox though, this never comes up. I have McAfee, avast! and Spyware Doctor and none have been able to get rid of this! How can I get lose it?

Those programs cannot remove the trojan because of the running processes. You need to boot into safe mode (repeatedly tap F8 before your system boots into Windows and select safe mode. Then run a scan and it will be removed.

Spyware doctor detects a trojan.delf file and says it fixes it but it really doesn't. I just tried it in safe mode too and it did the same thing. Grr, I just need it to go away, it's so hard to navigate around folders.

You could try locating the file (Spyware doctor will say where the malicious content was detected and then delete the files manually.
