Hey everyone,

I've decided to build a computer, I'm a bit of a noob, but I've done a lot of reading and research and I think I can do it. My main purpose for the computer is applications such as Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering programs so there will be some 3D rendering etc. I'm not much of a gamer but i Like to play COD an odd time, that's about it really.

So far I've come up with this,

Intel i7-3930K, Asus GeForce GTX 680, Cooler Master HAF X - System Build - PCPartPicker

I'm just wondering if anyone could give me any pointers on whether it's a good system or not, or if some of those parts are not needed. Is there too much overkill with parts such as the CPU and RAM? Or if I should sacrifice them for a better graphics card, or a dual graphics card?

I'm living in Ireland and parts are much more expensive here so I'm actually way over budget, I can afford it if it's worth it, but if it's not necessary I would like to cut back on the cost.

Any pointers would be much appreciated!

Cheers,
Kyle
