Get a 939 MOBO. The others are starting to die out now. Then you can keep upgrading for years to come.

How about this one?

going with your advice
-MSI K8N Neo4-F Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 ATX AMD Motherboard - $86
-AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Winchester 1GHz FSB Socket 939 Processor Model ADA3000DIK4BI - $135
-CORSAIR ValueSelect 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) System Memory Model VS1GBKIT400C3 - $88

i have harddrives and i dont wanna order a case, the shipping would be annoying, ill buy a case from a local store. ill worry about cooling once a cool my case.

I just ordered the Leadtek 6800GT PCI-E for 401 something like that.

Oh and the shipping isnt all that bad if you order a case. I order my case from Newegg. Its not all that exspensive. maybe you should check it out.

DVD drive? pick one of the Cheap ones $50 us should get you one. you would only be a few dollars over your amount.
