i'm thinking into building a new computer and i don't know what parts would be best for a mid range budget
i was thinking to buy these

-Mobo

i have harddrives and i dont wanna order a case, the shipping would be annoying, ill buy a case from a local store. ill worry about cooling once a cool my case.

any suggestions on a pci-x video card?

Is it a good idae to buy a refurbished video card?
any advice on cooling and other stuff i should buy?
do these products work well together?
 
I just ordered the Leadtek 6800GT PCI-E for 401 something like that. :)

Oh and the shipping isnt all that bad if you order a case. I order my case from Newegg. Its not all that exspensive. maybe you should check it out.

DVD drive? pick one of the Cheap ones $50 us should get you one. you would only be a few dollars over your amount.
