i'm thinking into building a new computer and i don't know what parts would be best for a mid range budget
i was thinking to buy these

Get a 939 MOBO. The others are starting to die out now. Then you can keep upgrading for years to come.

i have harddrives and i dont wanna order a case, the shipping would be annoying, ill buy a case from a local store. ill worry about cooling once a cool my case.

any suggestions on a pci-x video card?
looking into a 6600gt, there are alot on newegg no idea which one to use.
or maybe a x700

I just ordered the Leadtek 6800GT PCI-E for 401 something like that.

Oh and the shipping isnt all that bad if you order a case. I order my case from Newegg. Its not all that exspensive. maybe you should check it out.

DVD drive? pick one of the Cheap ones $50 us should get you one. you would only be a few dollars over your amount.
