Default Help building computer. $1000 budget.

Here is what I have put together. Please tell me what you think I should upgrade or change. Looking for a gameing PC. $1000 budget

You need an operating system, so unless you plan on using Linux, you'll need to buy Windows Home, Professional, x64 etc. Everything looks OK, you could go for 2 gbs of RAM if you wanted since 1GB is pretty standard right now. That's an alright motherboard, I use it, pretty stable.

Yea I'm getting my OS from my university. Alot better price.

updated memory still 1gb but one stick instead of 2

I would go with a x2 3800+ or some dual core...thats what im putting in mine

Yeah, you probably should get 2GB, but1GB is fine anyway, BTW, 512mb is probably still the standard yet but for optimal performance you'd need 1G or (even 2GB).

You planning on buying a monitor or just seeing through the case? ROFL. Just joking.

I would upgrade to a 7900gt and 2gb memory. Other then that it looks good.

You wouldn't do wrong going for 4 gb. I have 2 gb, but have heard 4 is a charm.
