Default Help building business server.

Hello, I asked someone to build my office server; the current components are:

550BCR Intel Dual LGA1366 5500
8XDDR3, 2PCI-E X8, 1PCI
32G DDR3
INTEL E5506 CPU X2
FAN X2
SERVER CASE w/ POWER SUPPLY
120G SSD (OS)
2X 1T SATA HD RAID 1 (FOR DATA)
WINDOW SBS 2011 STANDARD 5 CLIENTS

For all this he charged me $3,314.
I run an office with about 16 computers, please give me suggestions. I will need to tell him to upgrade the server.

Thanks a lot!

Get a third hard drive or more and run it in RAID-5. That way you can benefit from some space gain and still have protection from one drive failure. If this is a SQL database server or similar make sure the cluster size is high like 32 or 64KB. If you don't wanna reinstall the OS if the SSD fails you might wanna get one more and run it in RAID-1. I hope he is putting good CPU fans on that. I would recommend the EVGA SR-2 motherboard over that one. It is probably the most amazing dual CPU board I've ever built a system on. That ram better be ECC ram for high stability.
