Exclamation Help With Build

Hi! I'm new to the forum, and I've come to ask some questions! I'm thinking about building my own computer, but I don't have any experience.

My New Computer's Setup ??

Dell E2013H Black 20" 5ms Widescreen LED Backlight LCD Monitor - 99$

i-rocks KR-6401-BK Black USB Wired Slim Chocolate Key Style Slim Keyboard - 19$

AMD FX-8350 Vishera 4.0GHz (4.2GHz Turbo) Socket AM3+ 125W Eight-Core Desktop Processor FD8350FRHKBOX - 199$

COOLER MASTER R4-L2S-122B-GP 120mm 4 Blue LED Case Fan 2 in 1 pack - 12$

ASUS M5A78L-M LX PLUS AM3+ AMD 760G Micro ATX AMD Motherboard and
Rosewill R103A Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case with 350W 20+4 pin connector Power Supply [COMBO] - 99$

ASUS XONAR_DG 5.1 Channels PCI Interface Xonar DG Sound Card - 30$

EVGA SSC 01G-P4-3652-KR GeForce GTX 650 Ti 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card - 150$
[/spoiler]

Total Cost: $797.97 (Is this a good price???)

This is really just a budget computer. I'm not experienced with building computers, so will everything fit? And the keyboard; how do I set up the computer without proper drivers for the keyboard/mouse?

I'll be installing Linux on this computer. Is that a good idea? I mean, the drivers for everything may not be available, right? So should I stick to Windows or go with Linux?

Is it a good idea to build it myself? I don't want to mess anything up. :P

This computer is for :
  • Light Gaming
  • Video Editing
  • Music Making
  • Video Streaming
  • Rendering

Is it okay? I don't have that much to use...

I would go with 1866mhz memory and a 990fx chip set..... But that is up to you. I run Debian Linux on my 8150/990fx with zero problems.

But what about the drivers? Are they always going to be compatible? Do I have to install them manually?

Most drivers are built into the kernel. 99% of things will work out of the box. The only driver I needed to install was nvidia proprietary driver and a patch for my nic, and video will work out of the box i just prefer the performance of nvidia closed source driver.
